CHAPTER 03

Report

What this chapter covers

Report is an analysis page where conma automatically puts together your account performance — the kind of report someone used to compile by hand. It bundles what happened this period (week/month) — performance, top-performing content, follower changes — into an easy-to-read flow you can view right in the app. If you need to, download it as an 'Analysis PDF' to use as reporting material for advertisers, executives, or your team.

3.1When to use it

You can already see all the numbers in Insight, but turning them into a "this week's report" takes real work every time. Report does that compiling for you.

The problemWhat Report does
Half a day spent moving weekly/monthly performance into a table and adding commentaryAuto-compiles this period's performance — plus interpretation
So many numbers, not sure what to look at firstLeads with the 3 most important lines first
Can't explain why something did wellShows the reasoning behind why each TOP post performed well

3.2How is it different from Insight?

Insight and Report show the same data in different ways. Insight is the live screen you dig into yourself; Report is the analysis page that compiles a fixed point in time on your behalf.

So when do you look at which?

Use this → InsightUse this → Report
When you want to dig into something right now (why did this post pop off? why did followers drop yesterday?)When you need a document that recaps the whole week/month to report to advertisers or your team

The two aren't competing with each other. Think of Report as turning what you found in Insight into a finished report.

3.3Weekly report vs. monthly report

You can get reports in two flavors: weekly and monthly. The structure is the same, but the comparison basis and a few sections differ.

Weekly reportMonthly report
PeriodThe past 7 daysThe past calendar month
Compared againstThe prior 7 daysThe previous month + long-term trend since connecting
Sections unique to this periodDaily (day-of-week) trend · trend over the last 8 weeksDetailed month-over-month comparison · category/event breakdown

Included in both: the top 3 highlights · performance (vs. previous period) · account and follower growth · full list of published posts · TOP post analysis · posting timing · follower demographics.

3.4How to get a report

Reports don't accumulate automatically. Choose the period you want and click 'Get report' — credits are deducted and the report is generated. Once created, a report stays in the list and you can revisit it anytime.

1 · Choose period
2 · Get report (credits)
3 · Saved to list
  • Types: Weekly (last week) · Monthly (last month)
  • What's included: performance · content analysis · posting timing · follower analysis (all based on your account)
  • Once you have at least one report, 'Report' appears in the left-hand menu.

3.5Reading the report screen

Opening a report shows your list of created reports on the left, the report body in the center, and a table of contents on the right. Use the 'Analysis PDF' button in the top right to download the report you're currently viewing.

The body is organized top to bottom in this order.

  2. This period's performance (vs. previous period): reach, engagement, net follower growth, and post count as cards, compared to the previous period
  3. Account profile: follower and post counts, follower growth over the last 30 days
  4. Performance summary: totals and averages for reach, views, interactions, saves, and shares
  5. Performance by format: Reels vs. Feed comparison
  6. Growth engine & discovery paths: the posts and hashtags that drove reach
  7. TOP posts: your best-performing posts and why they did well
  8. Posting timing: the days and times that performed best
  9. Follower demographics: gender, age, region
